What We Play
Listeners enjoy readings from the Houston Chronicle, The Wall Street Journal, voter’s guides, popular books, and magazines on news, sports and entertainment. See our Program Guide or Program Index for more detailed information.
How To Hear Us
HTBR broadcasts on a special low-power FM frequency through specially-tuned radio receivers. Taping For The Blind provides radios free to qualified clients. You can also hear us on the Secondary Audio Program (SAP) of KUHT-TV, Channel 8, Houston's PBS station. Through our partnerships with and Houston Public Television, we've extended our broadcast range to a 33-county area around Houston. Our specially tuned radio receivers broadcast on the sideband of 88.7 FM KUHF radio.
You can also listen to HTBR on the Internet via stream audio right on this web site.
