Custom Recording Request Form

If you are a registered client living in the state of Texas, we will help you obtain audio versions of any material you may request, up to and including making a custom recording to your specification.  If you are not yet a registered client, please complete our Client Application Form.

Of course, if we can obtain a pre-recorded copy of the work, we will help you make use of the existing copy.  If no audio copy exists or can be found, we will assign a reader to create a custom recording of the printed material you provide.  We record only printed material, not works in Braille.  Please submit a separate form for each unique work to be recorded.

 How Should We Send Recordings to You?
Unless otherwise specified, we will send tapes or compact discs (CDs) to you when the entire custom recording is complete.  If you prefer, we can send you individual tapes or CDs as they are completed.  Please specify your preference below.

We make custom recordings on a first-come, first-served basis unless the request is justified as urgent.  If you do have an urgent need, such as a textbook for an upcoming course, please let us know the date by which you need it.

When you click the Submit button below, a confirmation page displays the information you submitted. This information is sent to a Taping For The Blind representative, who will enter your information in our custom recording request database and await receipt of your original in the mail.
